After 20+ years working in the special needs sector I have completed almost all jobs available from caretaker to class teacher.

My final role in formal education was as Trust Safeguarding Lead. I was lucky enough to learn and deliver training in Trauma Informed Practice, Team Teach, Outdoor Studies, DofE and emotional interventions.

My passion however, was making a connection with those on the periphery of education. Too often the out of sight are the out of mind.

Following this passion led to the creation of the BGC Education Group Ltd. Through this group I can offer Safeguarding Audits, staff training and most enjoyably, bespoke packages of education to young people.
